Just imagine starting your day lounging on your own deep water “dock of the bay” with morning coffee in hand, watching birds soar, pelicans dive, fish leap and crabs scurrying beneath the sea grasses. As you step inside you are at once greeted with sunlight streaming through wall to wall triple draped windows. You’ll appreciate the open floor plan when guests pop up and the elegance of traditional furnishings from which to read or watch cable TV nestled into a cushy rocker and queen sized sofa –sleeper.
A gleaming all-white kitchen adjoins the dining area featuring an antique Hatteras tiled mosaic table with 4 velvet high back chairs; great for a rousing après-dining game of cards!
The coordinated bath features a full-sized shower with new faucets, sink and cabinetry. And washing your beach clothes couldn’t be more convenient than using the on-premise laundry room—no coins required!
The bedroom is large and roomy with plenty of closet and floor space for the treasures you will collect while here on the island. The quaint Floridian louvered windows will remind you of days long ago! For computing, you’ll enjoy the laptop table tucked into the corner. And after spending the day beaching and shopping, plop into the plush queen sized bed . Our guests insist it’s a great night’s sleep.

all-teakwood motoryacht that can accomodate 6 with her master
queen stateroom and two twin berth staterooms which are adjoined by 3

On the main deck, you'll find a cozy main salon dressed in tropical decor,

She’s an original. Designed by, built and docked at Bradenton Beach Marina, "The Flo" is now entertaining guests who long to be on the water and to be lured into its soothing gentle rock.
More cottage than boat, she rests on multiple pontoons and boasts all the luxuries of home with a fireplace in the living room, big screen TV complimented by satellite programming, darling kitchen, queen bedroom and closet, washer/dryer in the laundry closet and the cheery bathroom, featuring a full bathtub with shower. You’ll love her high ceilings with bright blue trusses and the hand crafted floor, tiled throughout with teak mosaics imported from the forests of Thailand. Her every detail affords convenience, comfort, privacy and adventure!
Throw out a fishing line from the front or back sundecks and grill dinner on the spot at your personal wharf. Sun, read, cocktail or join the sunrise in progress with your morning coffee. She’s you own private deck for watching the birds, dolphins and manatees who visit the marina sea basin. Looking north your view includes the bascule bridge as it raises and lowers to clear passage for intracoastal vessels of all types. To the south, the view takes in the Bradenton Beach Fishing Pier, and in the horizon, all of Sarasota Bay.
Located at the west end of the Cortez Bridge, you can’t miss her gingerbread trim and signature hand-cut fish deck railing docked next to the high & dry. Soon to be outfitted with engines, she will eventually motor her way to a private anchored mooring accessible only by her sidekick and matching pontoon boat. Talk about getting away from it all!

"Very cozy little place in a great location.
My wife and I spent our Christmas 2009 vacation here. The owner and his staff were more than happy to make us feel right at home. This was our first trip to 'the island' and we had plenty of questions. This property is owned by the same person who owns the huge marina next door. Very down to earth people here that are very familiar with the area and willing to point you in the direction of whatever you may be interested in.The house is very clean with large tile floor throughout, internet, and a large flat screen TV. Free use of a jet ski was a huge perk! I wish the weather would have been warmer for it. They have jet ski tours from the marina and you will be invited along.
The location of this house is really neat. You can walk out the door and the water is only fifteen feet away! You have your own pier to fish from too! Nothing beats getting up in the morning, watching the sun rise from the bay water, then walking over to the beach that evening and watching it disappear into the gulf! The boats that go through the bay are really neat to watch and the drawbridge is interesting. Everything you need is within walking distance and the island is very narrow in this area, making the beach quite close. At the opposite side of the bay is the village of Cortez, which has fresh caught seafood in little mom and pop markets. The charter fishing boats leave from there also. In summary, I would recommend this house to anyone who is looking for a great island experience, I know ours was!"

"Absolutely a wonderful cottage on the water.
My wife and I wanted an adventure: Life on a boat at a marina. We spent the month of January 2011 having the most fun we have ever experienced. Talk about location. Being at the Bradenton Beach Marina on Anna Maria Island in Bradenton Florida provided us with restaurants north and south on the Island. Allan Bazzy, the owner, and his staff made us feel like part of his family!
The floating cottage, called the Floridian, provided all the comforts of home with cozy living room, kitchen, fireplace, bedroom, full size bathroom WIFI, and a 42" plasma cable TV. Close to the beach, Bradenton Public Pier, Rotten Ralph's and Bridge Tender restaurants to mention a few.
At evening my wife enjoyed sitting and reading out on the deck while I was fishing. I personally have caught more fish off the front deck than I have caught in my life! Dolphins play in front of the deck and lots of boat activity in and out. Interest galore! As the sun went down we prepared for a good night’s sleep looking to the next day with great expectation and adventure.
We would recommend this floating cottage to anyone looking for a great water experience."
